1. The service
OptiRank AI helps Shopify merchants create product content (such as titles, descriptions, meta tags and ALT text) using AI, and audit products for search and AI readiness. Features available to you depend on your plan.
2. Your account and store
You must have a Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it. You are responsible for activity in the app under your store and for complying with Shopify's terms.
3. AI-generated content
- AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing it, and for what you publish to your store.
- Audit scores are diagnostic guidance based on documented checks. They are not a measure of how search engines or AI assistants rank your products.
- We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, AI assistant recommendation, traffic, conversion or sales outcome.
- Nothing is published to your store without your approval. The original values of fields you publish are kept so you can restore them.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of your product data. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the service, including sending them to our AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights to the content you submit.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to create unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content, to misrepresent products, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. AI providers' usage policies also apply.
6. Plans, credits and billing
- Billing is handled by Shopify and charged through your Shopify invoice.
- Plans include a monthly credit allowance. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over unless stated otherwise. Operations cost different amounts of credits, shown before you start.
- Credits for operations that fail are refunded to your balance.
- Current plans and prices are listed on the Shopify App Store and may change with notice.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add or remove features over time.
8. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Your data is deleted about 48 hours after uninstalling, when Shopify sends its data removal request, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content you choose to publish. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the fees you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
